You are not alone in developing your LILI proposal. A range of central units are available to provide guidance, technical support, and pedagogical consultation before and after submission.
Platform configuration, system integration, and analytics infrastructure. Contact ITSC for technical setup queries and license provisioning support.
User engagement, learning promotion, and self-directed learning support. The Library can help promote LILI to your target audience and provide guidance on content discovery.
Professional development pathways and pedagogical design support. CLEAR can assist with curriculum integration strategies and learning design for Academic Track proposals.
Staff development pathways and workforce capability planning. HRO can advise on how LinkedIn Learning can be embedded within existing staff development frameworks.
The ELITE team provides instructional media production support for units that wish to complement their LinkedIn Learning pathways with CUHK-produced content — such as introductory videos, orientation materials, or blended learning resources.
Consider reaching out to ELITE if your proposal involves creating CUHK-specific content to complement existing LinkedIn Learning resources — for example, a contextualisation video explaining how a LinkedIn Learning pathway applies to your discipline or programme.
Engage ELITE early in the proposal development process to ensure media production timelines are feasible within your project timeline.
Review the full guidance notes above to understand the objectives, scope, design principles, and evaluation criteria before beginning your application.
Determine whether you are applying via the Academic Track (structured curriculum/programme use) or the PAS Track (operational staff access). Use the comparison table in this document if unsure.
For novel or large-scale proposals, consider reaching out to the LILI team or relevant central units (CLEAR, Library, HRO) before submitting. Early consultation often strengthens proposals significantly.
Complete and submit your application via the designated platform from 1 July. The platform will guide you through only the relevant sections for your selected track.
This call does not provide direct funding. The primary support is LinkedIn Learning licenses. Additional resource requests are for planning purposes only and do not constitute a commitment.
Applications remain open after the 1 August deadline on a rolling basis. You do not need to wait for a new call cycle — submit when ready.
You do not need to create a formal course or structured programme to receive licenses. Access is available for operational, self-directed, and informal learning purposes.
Certification and badging components can be discussed after initial submission. Do not delay applying because certification plans are not yet finalized.
