This track is intended for academic staff, programme coordinators, and curriculum designers proposing structured uses of LinkedIn Learning within teaching, research support, or co-curricular programmes. The form captures sufficient detail for institutional evaluation and analytics.
Complete all required fields. This information will be used for correspondence and institutional recordkeeping. The project level and type fields help the LILI Sub-Group understand the scope and intended reach of your proposal.
Provide a brief overview (approximately 150–200 words) of the proposed initiative. Describe the integration approach (curriculum, co-curricular, or staff development), how LinkedIn Learning content will be used (existing content vs. curated pathways), and the intended mode of delivery (self-paced, blended, workshops, etc.).
Clearly explain the following in your response:
Ensure that the expected number of beneficiaries is consistent with the number of licenses you are requesting. Overestimating or underestimating either figure may affect review outcomes.
Indicate the total number of LILI licenses requested and provide a brief justification of demand, including whether this is a pilot, phased rollout, or full-scale deployment.
Describe in detail how LinkedIn Learning will be integrated into your initiative. Your response should address all three dimensions below.
Specify whether the proposed use is curriculum-integrated, co-curricular, staff development-focused, or self-directed. Explain how LinkedIn Learning fits within the broader programme or unit context.
Indicate whether you will use existing LinkedIn Learning content as-is, curate custom learning pathways for CUHK, or a combination of both. Explain the rationale for your approach.
Describe the intended delivery modality: fully self-paced, blended with face-to-face sessions, facilitated workshops, or another format. Explain how the mode supports your target learners.
This section is central to the evaluation of your proposal. Reviewers will assess whether your KPIs are measurable, realistic, and tied to meaningful learning outcomes. Proposals must include at least 2–3 KPIs covering both engagement and learning outcomes.
Describe the key phases and milestones of your project from initiation to completion. A clear timeline helps reviewers assess feasibility and planning maturity. Consider structuring your timeline around:
Describe both quantitative and qualitative evaluation approaches:
Evaluation data should be collected at regular intervals and used to inform ongoing improvement during the project.
Explain the long-term impact of your initiative beyond the initial implementation phase. Consider the following dimensions in your response (maximum 400 words):
How will the initiative continue to benefit learners and the unit after the initial period? What mechanisms will sustain learner engagement and content relevance?
Can the model be replicated or adapted across other faculties, departments, or programmes? What would be required to scale the initiative University-wide?
Can the curated pathways, resources, or implementation model be reused in other contexts — for example, across disciplines, cohorts, or staff populations?
The LILI Sub-Group is currently developing a University-level framework for the validation, approval, and awarding of certificates and digital badges. This framework will define minimum quality standards, appropriate assessment methodologies, and required governance processes.
If your proposal includes a certification or badging component, please outline your proposed approach, covering:
e.g. completion of specified learning pathways, accumulated learning hours, successful quiz completion, reflections, or related activities
e.g. pass thresholds, assignment evaluation, tracking of completion and engagement metrics from the platform
Alignment with LILI's non-award-bearing nature and existing recognition mechanisms such as co-curricular records, digital badges, or programme transcripts
Applicants may indicate any additional resources required beyond LinkedIn Learning licences. This information is collected for planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment of funding or resource allocation.
For each item, clearly demonstrate how the resource supports implementation, learner engagement, or the scalability and sustainability of the initiative. Where applicable, applicants may consider separate funding applications for substantial resource needs.
Indicate up to three relevant areas from the list below and provide a brief explanation of how your proposal aligns with each selected area. This section helps the LILI Sub-Group understand how your initiative contributes to CUHK's broader strategic agenda.
Does the proposal develop learners' understanding of AI concepts, applications, or critical evaluation of AI tools?
Does the proposal build foundational or advanced digital skills relevant to academic or professional practice?
Does the proposal develop transferable workplace competencies such as communication, collaboration, or problem-solving?
Does the proposal directly improve the quality, design, or delivery of teaching and learning at CUHK?
A University-wide call inviting faculties, departments, programmes, and units to develop innovative applications of LinkedIn Learning aligned with CUHK's strategic priorities in AI literacy, digital fluency, and lifelong learning.
